Jayme Schmidt attended the University of
Washington and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Society and Justice
(presently called the Law, Societies, and Justice Program). She
recently returned to the University of Washington and successfully
completed its Paralegal Studies Certificate Program.
In 1989, Ms. Schmidt began working for C.D. Beck &
Associates and under the tutelage of Christine Beck, gained experience
and expertise conducting various types of investigations. She was
employed by C.D. Beck until opening her agency in July of 2003.
Ms. Schmidt is a Certified Trainer of investigators in
Washington State and has instructed others who want to become
investigators. She has been a guest lecturer for the University of
Washington's Private Investigator Certificate Program.
Ms. Schmidt is a founding member of the Washington
Association of Legal Investigators (WALI). She currently serves
on WALI's board and is chair of its membership committee. She is
also a member of the National Council of Investigation &
Security Services (NCISS), and an associate member of the
Washington State Association for Justice
(WSAJ) and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
(WACDL).
